​In this episode we take a look at how people have divided the landscapes of Britain.  The arrival of
Homo heidelbergensis 500,000 years ago followed by our arrival, the shift towards agriculture, the Norman Conquest and the transformation of farming into agribusiness have all impacted our landscapes.

In this episode we start to look at how we can restore our world be reweaving the relationships that once held it together, starting with the relationships between plants and soils.
